Fall Family Fun

Alaska Reindeer Farm
The Alaska Reindeer Farm will be hosting it’s annual Fall Family Fun event. Come out to enjoy a reindeer tour, pony rides (ages 12 and under), kids spooky walk, reindeer Barrel Train, tractor pulled wagon rides, a hay bale maze, and entertainment. The largest of Anchorage’s haunted houses, Fright Nite has been opening for Halloween scares since 1985. All ages are welcome to enter, but be prepared for the fright of your lives! This may not be appropriate for young children.
Tickets: $10 for regular, $15 for 3D
A family-friendly Halloween celebration that provides a safe, warm place for little ghosts and goblins to trick or treat in their costumes. Families are invited to dress up in their funniest, craziest or silliest Halloween costumes.

- Times: Friday, 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. | Saturday, 12pm. – 4 p.m.; 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Pulse Dance Company’s Haunted Burlesque
October 21st, 8 PM
Join the ladies of Pulse in one of the company’s most vital fundraisers to date, set in a haunted mansion. This production features comedy, fantastic costuming, refined dancing and the art of the tease. It’s a haunting that helps make our season finale concert possible, so bring your spare shackles, er, dollar bills! Best suited for anyone sensitive to sunlight, or ages 300+. Support local dance in this excitingly unconventional way.

Details and requirements:
Slots in squads are limited, don’t delay match registration.
Junior Division: 12 yrs – 18
Men’s Division: 18 yrs – up
Women’s Division: 18 yrs – up
Pistols only. No Magnums.
Ammunition: Non steel core or bi-metal ammo
Equipment: Eye and ear protection absolutely required for everyone at the match – including specators.
Safety: The Match event is a held on a cold range. Only the shooter, under the direction of a range officer, is allowed to have a loaded firearm and only during their turn. A safety brief is required to participate.

Kid’s Halloween Train
October 22nd, 10AM-12:30pm & 3PM-5:30PM
This Halloween, the Alaska Railroad will offer a brand new, special event train for all ages with departures at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22. The Alaska Railroad Kid’s Halloween Train offers monster-size fun, including entertainment from a magician, crafts, balloon animals, Halloween-themed Bingo, a raffle and coloring contest on a 2.5 hour, round-trip journey from Anchorage to Indian.
Tickets: $59 for adults, 34 for children 2-11
